2017-2019 Global Student Video Competition Coordinator for the YPC

Description:

  • Responsible for planning and executing all aspects of the 2018 Global Undergraduate Student Video Competition (GSC), including:
    • Finalizing the topic & subtopics, ensuring grant requests for funding are submitted, creation of materials needed to announce competition topics, and coordinating all volunteers & judges.
  • Support the completion of the 2017 competition in their first 6 months as needed while preparing for the 2018 competition and learning from the previous competition coordinator.
  • Following the completion of the 2018 Global Student Video Competition, you will assist 2018-2020 GSC Coordinator through the 2019 Spring Meeting.
  • This position is a two year position beginning at the 2017 Spring Meeting and ending at the 2019 Spring Meeting.
  • Participate in Young Professionals Committee (YPC) Recruitment &Retention (R&R) Subcommittee and YPC meetings.
  • Report to the YPC’s R&R Subcommittee Co-Chairs.
  • The time commitment expectation is approximately 60 hours over the course of this two year position.
