Description:

  • Develop, organize, and chair the in-person Young Professionals Committee’s (YPC) Professional Development Workshop for the 2017 AIChE Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN.
  • Create an interactive workshop that focuses on topics relevant to young professionals looking to advance their careers from entry-level or mid-level positions during the Annual Meeting.
    • Ideally this session engages participants with facilitators as well as each other, allowing participants to test drive concepts and tools from the session through role-playing, case studies, or other activities.
  • Work with YPC Officers and YPC Programming Subcommittee Co-Chairs to determine the topic and speakers for the session.
  • Ensure the session is entered into Confex and all tasks related to the session are completed by the deadlines laid out by AIChE Programming.
  • Participate in YPC Programming Subcommittee and YPC meetings.
  • This role would begin ASAP and end at the 2018 Spring Meeting.
