My experience from the undergraduate developments are mainly based on the investigation of hazardous waste such as vanadium pentoxide, batteries and agroindustrial waste potential in general but more focused in bioenergy, as an alternative guideline for the production of biodiesel from microalgae.
Since I'm a member in AIChE, I've been working on my professional emphasis to follow my objectives/scopes learning about safety, industrial hazards and automation and control, with the eLearning Courses and Conference Presentations and also some Webinars. Also I've been doing some other complementary online courses in a colombian technical institution SENA, about automation and control.
Recently, I won third prize for one of my presentations in an event organized by AIChE's Medellin Student Chapter "PROCESA 2017" in Universidad Nacional de Colombia Sede Medellin (Colombia).
At this moment I'm projecting my postgraduate studies to keep and accompplish my objectives following these same guidelines especially in fields that allow me to perform with hazardous wastes and the safety in instrumentation and process control that allow me to acquire knowledge in industrial automation as well as dynamic process modeling.
One of my newest interests is in Nuclear Energy, so I'm using and watching all about it, that AIChE can provide me to learn about.
