I am currently the Vice President of Engineering Services at CPFD Software LLC and Product Manager at Arena-flow LLC with 18 years experience developing and applying various general and specialized computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technologies. Since 2008 I have been increasingly working with refining, petrochemical and power generation industries, with particular emphasis on Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) units and related components.
I have specialty expertise in fluidization and fluid-particle computational modeling for diverse industries including petrochemical (both upstream and downstream), power generation, gasification, materials processing and metal casting. I have authored or presented over 25 times in the past decade and hold a Master's of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto's Institute for Aerospace Studies for CFD algorithm research and development work sponsored by Bombardier Aerospace.
My passions include purposeful living (i.e. doing great work in the office, continually improving as a husband and father, volunteering with excellence, etc.), studying great companies, partnership, leadership, and making technology understandable and accessible.
