Dr. Edison H. Ang possesses a well-rounded background and a diverse skill set within the field of materials science and engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2012, earning his B.S. degrees. In 2017, he successfully obtained his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University. Following this, he expanded his experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National University of Singapore from 2016 to 2017. Subsequently, he returned to Nanyang Technological University, where he served as a Research Fellow from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, in mid-2018, he took on a Visiting Scholar position at the Technical University of Munich in Germany.
Currently, Dr. Edison H. Ang holds the position of Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Education/Nanyang Technological University. His active involvement in the academic realm is evident through his participation in various memberships and editorial roles. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for the Chemical Engineering Journal and holds the position of Young Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Energy Chemistry and Collagen and Leather. Moreover, he assumes Associate Editorial Board responsibilities for Frontiers in Electronic Materials, Frontiers in Chemistry, and Frontiers in Environmental Chemistry. Dr. Ang also contributes as a Review Editorial Board Member for Frontiers in Chemical Engineering and holds an Editorial Board Member role for Scientific Reports.
Dr. Ang is widely recognized for his expertise in the field of 2D materials, and he has received numerous awards in recognition of his contributions.
