John currently serves on the AIChE Foundation Board of Trustees, Fellows Council, and Global Societal Initiatives Committee. He is a past AIChE Board Director, Societal Impact Operating Council Chair and Center for Sustainable Technology Practices Chair.
In addition, John is an active member of Engineers Without Borders - USA, founder and past president of the Lehigh Valley Professionals Chapter, and currently working on engineering humanitarian development projects in Sierra Leone and the Dominican Republic.
