Volunteer Bio

I have volunteered most of my adult life (or before) for either technical or non-technical events.  I have voluntarily tutored students in math and science, coached youth soccer, been a Cub Scout & Boy Scout leader, volunteered with Trout Unlimited, speak regularly with pre-college students about STEM, and have been on the University of Rochester industrial advisory board since 2019.

My volunteering experience with AIChE has been varied.  I have focused much of my efforts in the Process Development Division as session chair many times, chair for Area 12C/D Technology Transfer and Manufacturing, and am currently active as the newsletter editor.  I have occasionally ventured into AIChE Engage to look for opportunities or to engage with others.  I continue to look for ways to become increasingly involved as with AIChE through new opportunities.
