    Dear María,

Thank you so much for the reminder. I want to ask you: can I send two recommendation letters?, I've got one from one ex ESC student volunteer and also one from my advisor, so I haven't fill out my application because I haven't had response on that subject. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Zelma.

Thanks for your interest and your inquiry. You, may submit both letters. However, please note that we are making recommendation letters optional this year. Covid-19 forced many students to finish the semester on-line. Taking guidance from the AIChE Student Chapter Committee, we acknowledge that some students may not have access to professors to ask for the letters of recommendation as readily as they did in previous years, so we have made them optional.  We certainly welcome the letters if you were able to acquire them.

Thanks for the interest and we look forward to reviewing your application and working closely with you in some capacity.

    Many thanks,

    Maria
