    Hello Swapnil and Zineb, how are you? I hope you and your family are safe!

    As you said you're searching for research opportunities, I believe you could definetely do some things:
    • Develop your knowledge in these areas of interests, searching for books, recent papers etc, so when one interview comes you will rock it;
    • Develop your social skills, to be a better colleague and be more confident to sell yourself when in an interview.
    • Map ALL the laboratories in your university (and universities close to you) that works in these areas of interest. Contact friends from different universities, or even e-mail these universities searching for an opportunity. Also, if you get the contact of a laboratory that might interest you, don't hesitate to contact them.
    • Expand your network through LinkedIn. It's an AWESOME away to meet new people from different parts of the world, and who knows what you can accomplish through them? Remember, today you need help, tomorrow you can help (and vice-versa). Feel free to add me there! Just click here to go to my profile.
    • Check this post, where Harpreet Singh gave some tips to get job opportunities (maybe they'll work for internships as well).

    I think I gave you some alternatives to accomplish your goal. If you still can't find any internships doing all things mentioned, I strongly recommend you develop your social and hard skills. The first one, you can do by many ways. I wrote a few tips on this post. The other you'll be able to develop through a lot of hard work and time seated studying hehe.

    Feel free to message or e-mail me! I'll be glad to help.

    Best Regards,
