Process engineers need confidence of management and operators to perform. What is the optimum pathway to achieve this?

    Hi Onochie,

I think that is a pretty broad question. What do you mean? Do you mean you don't feel management and operators have confidence in you? Or do you mean the opposite, you don't trust management and operators?

My opinion, based on my long career as a process engineer, is that demonstrating deep and useful insight into your process is the key to building confidence in others.  This must be done in such a way that both management and operators feel that you are their partner in making the process succeed.
