    Hi All,
What are the major intensive differences between HYSYS and UNISIM. I am not talking about user interface and pellets options. I am keen on knowing the differences based on modelling and simulation.

    Dear Ejaz and group,

From my experience they are still quite similar.  I think Aspen Hysys has a close link to other Aspen software which makes it different from Unisim Design.  Of course Unisim Design is the backbone for many operator training and scheduling software available from Honeywell.  I haven't seen a major difference between the two (and we interface to both) in how they operate.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Ejaz,

Are you asking so you can understand which software to adopt? Just to chip in, from my experience Aspen Hysys and Unisim are similar and like James Berthold has explained, Aspen Hysys has other aspen software attributes which makes its packages very attractive for a process engineer. I enjoy using Aspen Hysys perhaps because I find it very user friendly.
