    Hi All,
I  would like to inquire an information pertaining to our radiant coil issue which is related to premature tube metal temperature increase. This has resulted in a more frequent decoking cycle that is originally about 50 days to become 20 days only. This has really puzzled us  since it only happen to two out of 6 furnaces that we have. Anyone has any experience on this

Is it a dual feed cracker - Naphtha and C2+ liquid? The feed source and its operating conditions plays an important role. Are they  as per the design?

It is a single ethane gas feed cracker. At the moment we are operating it as per design.
    Thank you.

    Hi Nizam,

Such abnormality could be due to (1) S-chemical (such as DMDS and equivalent) pump not function as it should be – could be not delivering in the desired quantity, (2) burner flame pattern that impinging radiant coil. Suggest to check these likely causes.
