I did the following projects to fertilizer plants
    1. Increase the capacity of the ball with optimum ball size distribution.
    2. Specific energy reduction in the phosphoric production section
    3. Increase the life of filter cloth infiltration section
    Help in waste utilisation
    1. Production of gypsum with waste acid from the pharma industry
    I can share my experience

    Dear Balakrishanan,
Which type of cloth are you referring to over here?

    3. Increase the life of filter cloth infiltration section

I am interested to have some insights if it is a pressure filter cloth. Facing some issues on it.

    Dear Mr.Haider Ali
The filtration is used to separate solids from liquid after mixing sulfuric acid in raw material wherein phosphoric acid is filtrate and solid is disposed. It is carried in very long filter machine where at the end of the machine, after solids are removed the cloth is washed is used for further filtration. This cloth got torn early with few companies and few companies could use it for a very long time.
The project was to increase the life of filter cloth. The filter machine and filter cloth were the same for all industries.
Most of the industries live wit this problem. The industry does not believe in consultants. I could do the project to make students learn and make industries know modern methods. In this process, the industry gets free information.
I will be happy to answer if you need any further information.
Now I am willing to share my experience to inform the application of the chemical engineering equation. Kozney carman equation is one of the versatile equation which was effectively used by students for wet and as well as dry filtration. ( dust pollution control).

    with kind regards
    Pitchumani

I work for a phosphate manufacturer. A significant portion of our products service the fertilizer industry. I can also try to help.

    Hello Bertha,
I had earlier asked you what is your specific interest in agrochemicals. I am writing this note to repeat it.
I have a feeling that you imply pesticides/herbicides, etc since although fertilizers do fall in this generic category (agrochemicals), they are generally   called fertilizers rather than agrochemicals. I am sure you are aware of the fact that many 1st generation agrochemicals in this category  have been replaced by more effective (and hopefully benign to humans) molecules. You can get a glimpse of the risks involved in: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6276799/
I may add that there has been very heavy criticism of pesticide use. Some environmentalists have gone to the extent of comparing with "Al-Qaeda/Seal killers"  This comparison may be exaggerated (some may think, uncharitable), yet it represents an undercurrent.
You may also like to  refer: Johnson, E. (2012). Sustainability in the chemical industry. Springer Science & Business Media.
I will try to dig out relevant information in case you are interested.
