    Hi everyone,

I've never been to San Francisco but will have a couple of hours free in the afternoon to walk around. What landmarks or sights do you think I should see in that time?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

If you've seen a lot of coastal areas such as Galveston, Baltimore inner harbor, Charleston, etc. I would say you can skip the Wharf area as it's just another touristy waterfront area.

If you have 3 hours to kill, I would suggest getting an uber/<g class="gr_ gr_149 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="149" data-gr-id="149">lyft</g> to get as close to Pier 33 to go to Alcatraz.  It is a fun experience if you haven't done it.

the other landmarks like the bridge, ferry building, and others are all typical touristy things that end up being checkmarks if you haven't been to <g class="gr_ gr_408 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="408" data-gr-id="408">similiar</g> ones

Ride a Cable Car, visit Fisherman's Wharf....and be prepared to walk up and down a few hills.
