    Be aware that the Grand Hyatt is very close to the main program at the Convention Center.  But the Hyatt Regency (one of the featured AIChE hotels) is 0.7 miles away and will have some of the weekend and post-conference activities. I found out just in time so was able to switch to my preference of the Grand Hyatt.
